Essex Bike Ride

Paul Rider led a team riding for Noonan Syndrome Association on Sunday 8th September in the Foulness Bike Ride in Essex. The first picture shows Paul on the right and Mark in the middle and Louise on the left, before they started. They set off at 9.45 am and got back at 1pm.

Part of the course was over gravel, which unfortunately resulted in Paul’s bike getting a puncture but thankfully, on hand was a bicycle repair man (shades of Monty Python?) who fitted a new innertube and he was soon up and cycling again.

They completed the course (in picture 2) and received their medals (picture 3). They aimed to raise £150 and so far have had donations of £255 which with GiftAid  comes to £306.25. “Congratulations to Paul, Louise and Mark” said an NSA Spokesperson…
