My name is Stephen Hoey and I work as a Continuous Improvement advisor for Tarmac (a CRH company) for the Cement and Lime business unit.

My role involves coaching the management team in identifying opportunities for improvement, training site staff in Lean tools and methodologies, conducting observation studies, embedding support processes to enable sustainable improvements, etc. I became involved with the NSA as I wanted to help establish our charity following the decision to move away from Newlife.

My son was diagnosed with Noonan Syndrome when he was only young and the support and help we received spurred me on to become a Trustee and also take on the role of Treasurer to ensure the money we raise is spent wisely and benefits the Charities position.
