brilliant! * inspirational! * fascinating! * reassuring! * excellent! * wonderful! * moving!

Just some of the words our families used to describe their experiences at our Families for Families Days. We have postponed our 2020 Families for Families Day & Activities Weekend to the 26th to 28th April 2021. The venue is still scheduled to be in the Midlands at Whitemoor Lakes Activity & Conference Centre near Lichfield in Staffordshire.

If you were planning to come to the postponed event and haven’t received an email about this, please drop a line to families@noonansyndrome.org.uk.

We’re hoping to deliver a similar programme in 2021 to the one we planned for 2020. On the Saturday, we’ll have our most impressive yet line up of medical professionals. They will take part in the invaluable Question & Answer Session, but we’re planning sessions on Growth Hormone Treatment, Heart Problems, Speech, Language and Feeding.

And it’s not all strictly medical – we’ll have a session on Learning which will focus on practical strategies for parents and carers, Adulthood in Noonan Syndrome, plus more family stories which have been so well received at the last couple of Families for Families Days.

You can bring the family – there will be organised activities for those aged 18 and under, both inside and outdoor on Saturday including something different for the older teens. We’ll also be welcoming Ruby Doo back who went down so well in 2019 year, to throw a party for the younger ones on Saturday evening. We may have some additional drop-in sessions on Saturday evening and on Sunday morning when there will also be the opportunity for families to take part in some of the outdoor activities which the centre is so well known for.

We’re not taking bookings yet but when we do, it can get fully booked quickly as 2020’s did so keep in touch with us here or on our facebook page.
