Professor Mehul Dattani, who is Professor of Paediatric Endocrinology at the UCL Great Ormond Street Institute of Child Health in London and the Molecular Basis of Rare Diseases Section within UCL’s Genetics and Genomic Medicine Research and Teaching Department. He led the Endocrinology Department at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children between 2006 and 2023 and practices as a consultant paediatric and adolescent endocrinologist at GOSH and UCLH. He has been listed in the Times Top 100 Paediatric Specialists in the UK.
His colleague, Dr Harshini Katugampola, is a Consultant in Paediatric Endocrinology & Diabetes at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children with special interests in neonatal endocrinology, congenital pituitary disorders, differences in sex development, and congenital hypothyroidism.
