I joined the Board of Trustees of the Noonan Syndrome Association in August 2026. My interest in the charity is both personal and professional, as my youngest daughter, Sofia, lives with Noonan syndrome. This experience has given me firsthand insight into the challenges faced by individuals and families affected by the condition, as well as the importance of awareness, understanding, and access to support.
I am an MSc-qualified Business Information Systems professional with over 30 years of experience in NHS finance. My career has included extensive work in financial systems implementation, optimisation, and governance, with a particular interest in business process management and the use of technology to improve efficiency, transparency, and decision-making. I have worked closely with a wide range of stakeholders to deliver robust financial and operational solutions within complex healthcare environments.
As a trustee, I am passionate about increasing awareness of Noonan syndrome and strengthening support for affected individuals and their families. I believe there is a significant opportunity to improve understanding among parents, carers, and educational institutions, helping to create more informed, supportive, and inclusive environments.
I am committed to using my financial, governance, and systems expertise to support the Association’s mission and help ensure that families have access to the resources and support they need to thrive.
